The Bay Area Food Bank currently
has over 550 member agencies. These consist of pantries,
shelters and soup kitchens. Pantries are often operated
by churches or other charitable organizations and usually
distribute on a regular schedule. They often distribute
boxes or bags of food to their clients, such as the bags in
this picture at Catholic Social Services in Robertsdale,
