Mobile Pantry

The food bank's Mobile Pantry Program distributes thousands of pounds of food to convenient locations throughout our service area. With a grant from the Walmart State Giving Program, the food bank purchased a refrigerated trailer to deliver canned goods and fresh food items to agencies that are unable to travel to the food bank to shop for food.  This allows agencies to hand out large amounts of food in one day without having to store it at their location.  The Mobile Pantry Program is a great way for agencies to reach more people in need in their community.

Hosting a Mobile Pantry

For each mobile pantry distribution, the food bank will provide approximately 5,000 pounds of a variety of grocery products such as canned goods, fresh produce, bread, pastry and frozen meat. The food bank will work with the agency to determine the cost of the distribution.
