Help Us

There are many ways that people can become a part of the food bank family.  You can donate money online or using one of our direct mail pieces if one is mailed to you.  You or your company can donate food, or organize a food drive.  You can raise money by organizing a fundraiser or helping us with one of ours.  You can volunteer, either as a long term permanent volunteer who comes in a few days a week, or you can organize a group of people to come volunteer during the day, sorting food and doing other important work at the food bank.  Please check the sections on volunteering, raising money, donating money, donating food, and organizing a food drive for more information.

One very important and easy way you can help the food bank is by using your voice.  You can write to legislators about hunger-related issues, you can make phone calls or write emails.  You can become a hunger advocate for your community by checking our Use Your Voice section and finding out what needs to be said, and who needs to hear it.
