About Hunger

The food bank uses many different resources to assess the hunger need in our 24-county service area along the Central Gulf Coast. All of which indicate that the Central Gulf Coast possesses some of the highest food insecurity (or food hardship) levels in the country with 1 in 6 individuals struggling to find adequate nourishment.
